The History of our company

1887: The metalfoundry is founded by Hans Pfefferkorn, the great-great-grandfather of todays holder, in Munich Isarvorstadt.

1913: The foundry Pfefferkorn is one of the first foundrys in Munich working with Aluminum.

1917: The company moves to Munich Obersendling, now managed by Josefine Friedrich, the eldest daughter of Hans Pfefferkorn, and her Husband Max Friedrich.

1968: Kurt Pfefferkorn, the son of Josefine Friedrichs daughter Fini, takes over the management of the company.

1978: The company moves to Landsberg am Lech into a modern, generous factory building.

1986: Purchase of Heinrich-Wagner-Sinto (HWS) mould machine.

1988: Building of a second factory building.

1990: Establishment of our own Hardening shop, in order to extend our in-house production depth.

1999: Purchase of a 5-Axis machine.

2000: Purchase of a KUKA-cast-robot used for automatic casting with HWS mould machine.

2005: Judith Grüner-Pfefferkorn and Felix Pfefferkorn, two of Kurt Pfefferkorns children, start to take over the commercial operations of the company

That way our formerly manual foundry developed into a provider for ready-to-install components, which is still today able to be responsive to individual customer demands.
